Your key responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for managing the company in a turnaround or restructuring situation with full P&L accountability

  • Assumption of the CRO role: stabilization of earnings and liquidity as well as implementation of a robust restructuring and value enhancement plan

  • Strategic realignment and operational execution in close coordination with the shareholder

  • Overall responsibility for all commercial and operational functions, particularly Sales, Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, and Production

  • Restructuring and professionalization of the sales organization, including KPI management, reporting, and forecasting

  • Optimization of cost, cash, and working capital structures, ensuring profitable and sustainable growth

  • Leadership and development of the management team during a period of transformation and change

Accursia Capital is an internationally active private equity firm with offices in Munich and Milan. Its investment focus is on mid-sized companies in special situations across Europe. Accursia pursues a long-term buy-and-build strategy aimed at developing the operational potential of its portfolio companies and continuously expanding them through synergies within the group.

Your profile:

  • Several years of experience as Managing Director / CEO or in a comparable general management role within a mid-sized manufacturing company

  • Proven turnaround and restructuring experience (e.g., earnings, liquidity, or growth crises, carve-outs)

  • Experience in private equity-backed companies and familiarity with KPI management, reporting structures, and value creation frameworks

  • Demonstrated success in margin improvement, cash generation, and profitable growth

  • Strong numbers- and data-driven leadership style, high execution capability, and a hands-on mentality

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, as well as experience in an international environment

  • Business-fluent German and English language skills
