Gefrees, 21. January 2023 - Accursia Capital has agreed to buy MANN+HUMMEL’s elastomeric membranes business.
The acquisition, which is Accursia Capital’s first transaction in the membrane business, is expected to be closed within the first quarter of 2023. Formerly known as “helsacomp”, the comp! Elastomere GmbH is a global expert in membrane shaping, and offers customized solutions for complex rubber diaphragm tasks.
"comp! Elastomere is already well known in the global gas meter industry - our goal now is to strengthen the business further. We are very much looking forward to working with the team in Gefrees," said Martin Scheiblegger, CEO of Accursia Capital.
In September 2020, MANN+HUMMEL had acquired the elastomer membrane business together with the molecular and activated carbon technology division from the helsa Group in Gefrees. MANN+HUMMEL Molecular Filtration (formerly HELSATECH) will remain with the MANN+HUMMEL Group and will be further expanded at the Himmelkron site after the planned move this year.
