In December 2018, Accursia Capital acquired Gebr. Rath Werkzeugbau GmbH from Linde + Wiemann as part of a carve-out process.

 

All major operational spin-off measures were completed within the first three months of the takeover, and even the IT spin-off was completed within a short time.

Cartec produces high-quality tools for the automotive industry and complements the product range of Gebr. Rath Werkzeugbau.

In December 2019, Accursia Capital acquired the Body Panel BU from Schuler Pressen AG as part of a carve-out process. The BU was renamed Cartec Tooling GmbH.

 

Our investment rational is to exploit synergies with Gebr. Rath and to strengthen the market position of both entities.
Cartec and Rath remain legally independent companies.

In June 2021, the industrial holding Accursia Capital acquired the Breitscheid site of R+S Automotive GmbH. The site was renamed Breitscheider Werkzeugbau GmbH.

 

The traditional location convinces the market with its quality and reliability and thus offers a suitable addition to the existing service portfolio of Deutsche Werkzeugbau.
